Established in 2008, Cocoa Ooze was founded by Jamie Hutcheon at the age of 17 to fulfil his dream of becoming a professional Chocolatier.
It was in his family kitchen that Jamie first fell in love with baking and his products have been adapted from beloved family recipes which bring a fresh offering to the marketplace. Cocoa Ooze has developed into a premium bespoke chocolate company with everything made by hand. Now in 2015 Cocoa Ooze employ a team of 25 from 7 in 2013/2014. Our hard-working team is made up of a diverse group of dedicated staff, working within business development, marketing, accounts, retail and production. Our master chocolatiers have been trained in the art of chocolate making and are always experimenting with new flavours and ingredients to create brand new products for you to enjoy.
Cocoa ooze supply its products mostly within Scotland through our carefully selected retailers. In 2011 Cocoa Ooze opened the doors to its very own premises in Peterculter, followed by the opening of a larger premises in Aberdeen city centre in 2013. Both premises were not only a place to sell its ever increasing ranges of chocolate but to also offer new and exciting services including, coffee shop, chocolate making workshops, childrens birthday parties and chocolate afternoon teas.
Sales have soared since, providing the company with a high profile client list with over 200 corporate clients including names such as oil giants Total and BP as well as local businesses such as AGCC and Thorpe Molloy. Attending and exhibiting at major events, weddings shows and Farmers markets has helped to develop brand awareness and has resulted in a number of hospitality contracts and the company supplies chocolates from its bespoke service for corporate dinners, gifts and award ceremonies.
